Angelina Jolie recently admitted that she attempts to harden Maddox's feet when they visit his native Cambodia by having him "take off his shoes and walk on rocks". She admits "he isn't happy about it", but thinks it is an important experience for him.
"There was a time he would whine about little things like that and I'll say, 'Everybody in Cambodia can walk with bare feet. They get tough Cambodian feet.'"So the two of us will take our shoes off and walk across the rocks and go eat a cricket."
